This is the Bouvery Coffee Alexander, a divine blend of Bouvery CV, cognac and fresh cream. This cocktail is smooth, creamy and full of the finest dark chocolate liqueur you could wish for. We used Grand Brulot coffee infused cognac to introduce an additional kick of flavour. We would definitely enjoy it as a boozy dessert! Bouvery CV is a decadent blend of the finest Fair Trade Cocoa, gluten-free corn vodka and 4 time distilled pure spring water. Time and love goes into each small batch of this handcrafted liqueur. It’s easy to see why it’s won 2 medals from The Spirits Business.

This cocktail has a difficulty rating of 3/10. The process is a simple shake & strain and there are only three ingredients to combine.

After the crazy garnish of our last post, we decided to take it very easy on this one – anyone can make this cocktail!. Introducing the Gentleman’s Gin & Tonic, in celebration of the last day of the British summer. The selected gin for this cocktail has a large influence on the overall taste, however the cucumber will be sure to bring a fresh and mellow flavour. When paired with Gentlemen’s Gin, its mature and peppery profile encourages an almost herbal note from the cucumber.

The Cucumber Gin & Tonic has a difficulty rating of 2/10. The drink itself is a very simple gin & tonic over ice, but we garnished it with a thin slice of cucumber spiralling up the glass.

The Good Morning Clewiston is a cocktail created by RumJava, featuring RumJava Signature, a coffee infused rum. This rum is infused with freshly roasted Java’Mon Coffee for a gorgeous deep flavour with subtle notes of vanilla, caramel, coconut and cinnamon which blends perfectly with the Good Morning Clewiston. This cocktail tastes smooth and creamy with a punch of banana, it’s definitely a great way to welcome the morning!

The cocktail itself has a difficulty rating of 4/10, however the caramalised sugar garnish with a hanging basket of flowers results in a difficulty of 9/10. You will definitely need a lot of time on your hands!

Whilst the origin of the Cosmopolitan is disputed, it definitely is an absolute classic. Its popularity peaked in the 1990s due to the multiple references in the “Sex in the City” TV series. This cocktail is light, fruity and easy to drink, especially with the smooth and creamy notes of Aval Dor Cornish Potato Vodka from Colwith Farm Distillery. This plough-to-bottle vodka has recently won double gold at the San Francisco World’s Best Vodka Awards 2020!

The Cosmopolitan has a difficulty of 2/10. This recipe only has four basic ingredients and only one shake with ice.

This deliciously sweet and silky cocktail is known as the Libertine. It gorgeously blends the sweet citrus of fresh lemon juice and orange marmalade with the herbal notes of rosemary syrup. This pairs well with the orange and maple egg white foam on top of the cocktail and the delicious vanilla and bittersweet orange flavours of the 4 Year Old Tennessee Bourbon from American Eagle. Overall, the Libertine has a multitude of flavours in every sip.

The Libertine has a difficulty rating of 6/10 as there are quite a few processes involved, which includes making rosemary simple syrup. There are a lot of ingredients involved, and two shakes, one for the liquid component of the drink and the other for the foam.

The Cheeky Nipple, created by and featuring Bouvery CV, is a rich and decadent chocolate treat! It beautifully blends the very best chocolate liqueur, Bouvery CV, with Grand Marnier and Tequila Blanco to deliver a rich chocolate-orange cocktail. Trust me when I say, it’ll be gone in no time!

This cocktail has a difficulty rating of 3/10. The process is a simple shake & strain and there are only three ingredients to combine. You don’t even need to add a garnish.

Today we bring you the Bee’s Knees! Can you tell we don’t want summer to end? Usually a very sweet and tart cocktail, we decided to shake it up a bit by using Gentleman’s Gin. This gin brings a mature, peppery and pine flavour profile, which has led it to win gold in both the World Gin Awards 2020 and the Frankfurt International Trophy 2020. It perfectly balances out the sweetness from the honey and leaves a very natural tasting cocktail.

The Bee’s Knees has a difficulty rating of 3/10. Usually, adding honey into a cocktail with ice causes the honey to harden, making it difficult to fully incorporate it. However, mixing the honey with the ingredients prior to adding ice negates this issue.

HAPPY ESPRESSO MARTINI DAY! We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate this day by sharing an awesome Espresso Martini recipe using Grand Brulot. Grand Brulot is an award-winning, intensely flavoured and rich cognac, produced by blending Ecuadorian Robusta coffee beans with French VSOP Cognac. This is a perfect addition to the indulgent and creamy Espresso Martini, which will certainly wake you up with a kick!

This Espresso Martini has a difficulty rating of 3/10. This is a simple drink to make, however, preparing the espresso shot requires some extra time.

The Old Fashioned is a cocktail enjoyed by many and it’s the perfect way to dress up your favourite bourbon, without detracting from the taste. The bitterness, mixed with the sweetness of the sugar cube and fruity aromas blend well and enhance the whiskey’s flavour profile nicely. We used American Eagle 4 Year Old Tennessee Bourbon Whiskey in our Old Fashioned, which has been aged in American oak barrels. The flavours of this Tennessee Bourbon are vanilla and fudge with bitter-sweet orange and they work extremely well for this cocktail.

The Old Fashioned has a difficulty rating of 3/10, due to the simple process and recipe.

The Mint Julep is a fresh and minty cocktail, commonly associated with the Kentucky Derby but appreciated all-round. The three ingredients, whiskey, mint leaves, and simple syrup blend well to create a refreshing (and boozy) cocktail perfect for hot days. We recommend you use a whiskey that you really enjoy, as it has a big presence in this cocktail. We used Teeling Whiskey Small Batch which brings a beautiful oaky and sweetness to the drink.

The Mint Julep’s difficulty rating is 2/10 as only it requires a quick shake in the cocktail shaker. Again, the ingredients are easy to obtain and you might even have them already!
