Whilst the origin of the Cosmopolitan is disputed, it definitely is an absolute classic. Its popularity peaked in the 1990s due to the multiple references in the “Sex in the City” TV series. This cocktail is light, fruity and easy to drink, especially with the smooth and creamy notes of Aval Dor Cornish Potato Vodka from Colwith Farm Distillery. This plough-to-bottle vodka has recently won double gold at the San Francisco World’s Best Vodka Awards 2020!

The Cosmopolitan has a difficulty of 2/10. This recipe only has four basic ingredients and only one shake with ice.

We served the Cosmopolitan in a coupe glass. The cranberry juice gives a beautiful pink colour to the drink, which contrasts nicely with the orange garnish; a nod to the orange flavour of the cointreau. This dehydrated orange is from our favourite dehydrated garnish company, The Zest Co.
