Cocktail Recipe: Rosa’s Gold Rush

Another great cocktail created by Código 1530 is Rosa’s Gold Rush. The ‘Rosa’ in the name pays homage to the tequila used in this cocktail, Código 1530 Rosa. The sharpness of the tequila and lemon juice is balanced out nicely by the sweetness of the fresh tangerine juice and simple syrup. It makes for a pleasant and sweet taste.

 The Rosa’s Gold Rush scores a difficulty of 4/10. The core ingredients are easy to get hold of, however I decided to add edible gold glitter to elevate the drink, which may be more difficult to acquire.

A sophisticated drink featuring Código 1530 Rosa tequila, alongside fresh tangerine and lemon juice, simple syrup and club soda. Sprinkle in some edible gold glitter for the ultimate party pleaser. Difficulty: 4/10

• Cocktail Shaker
• Strainer
• Jigger/Measuring Spoon
• Mixing Spoon
• Paring Knife
• Small Cutting Board
• Glassware: Champagne Flute

Ingredients

Drink

• 1.5 oz Código 1530 Rosa Tequila
• 1 oz Fresh Tangerine Juice
• 0.5 oz Simple Syrup
• 0.5 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
• A Splash of Club Soda

Garnish

• 1 Orange Twist
• Edible Gold Glitter (optional)

Instructions 

• Add your Código 1530 Rosa Tequila, tangerine juice, lemon juice and simple syrup into your cocktail shaker with ice.
• Shake for 10-15 seconds.
• Strain into your champagne flute, leaving enough room for a splash of club soda.
• Add a pinch of edible gold glitter and a splash of club soda into the glass. Mix to see the drink shimmer.
• Garnish with an orange twist.
• Enjoy your cocktail.
