After the crazy garnish of our last post, we decided to take it very easy on this one – anyone can make this cocktail!. Introducing the Gentleman’s Gin & Tonic, in celebration of the last day of the British summer. The selected gin for this cocktail has a large influence on the overall taste, however the cucumber will be sure to bring a fresh and mellow flavour. When paired with Gentlemen’s Gin, its mature and peppery profile encourages an almost herbal note from the cucumber.
The Cucumber Gin & Tonic has a difficulty rating of 2/10. The drink itself is a very simple gin & tonic over ice, but we garnished it with a thin slice of cucumber spiralling up the glass.
To tie in with the green of the cucumber, we added a green glass straw from Surfside Sips. This company is so special, creating hand-crafted, reusable glass straws to fight against single use plastic pollution. If this interests you, Surfside Sips is offering a 20% discount to your purchase using the code: tipsywithtyreek. What’s even better is that 5% of your sale will be donated to National Save the Sea Turtle Foundation!
