The Negroni is an Italian classic made using gin, however, this cocktail uses the award-winning VIVIR Tequila Blanco instead of gin, hence the name Tequila Negroni. This cocktail is a beautiful balance of herbal, bitter and sweet notes. VIVIR Tequila Blanco brings a clean and zesty taste that pairs well with the additional elements of this well established drink.
The Tequila Negroni has a difficulty score of 2/10 as it only uses three core ingredients and is built in the glass.
We served the cocktail in a rocks glass with some clear ice cubes. The drink creates a gorgeous deep orange colour. It’s said that the colour orange evokes hunger, which is maybe why the Negroni is often served as an apéritif! We placed an orange wheel in the glass to add some more visual interest to the drink.
We will also have more cocktail recipes featuring VIVIR Tequila Blanco on the Tipsy with Tyreek blog. If you’re feeling adventurous you should try the VIVIR Marble Queen or if you need something refreshing, try the VIVIR Paloma.
