If you’re looking for a bitter cocktail, the Rosa Martini created by Código 1530 is for you. The ‘Rosa’ in Rosa Martini pays homage to the tequila used in this cocktail, Código 1530 Rosa. The tequila itself has quite prominent sweet and citrus flavours that harmonise with the fresh grapefruit juice. The addition of bitters ensures the natural bitter aftertaste of the grapefruit juice is emphasised throughout very sip. Overall, this is a very mature cocktail.
The Rosa Martini cocktail scores a difficulty of 2/10. With only three core ingredients it is very simple to make but doesn’t compromise on the taste.
The use of a martini glass will make this cocktail look even more sophisticated. With a simple glass design, it allows the solid and striking orange colour to be the centre of attention. When recreating the cocktail, I included a grapefruit wedge and a pink flower to compliment the floral notes of the Código 1530 Rosa tequila.
