Today we add a touch of elegance to your day with the French 75. This cocktail was developed over the 1920s and serves a beautiful concoction of champagne, gin, fresh lemon juice and simple syrup. We chose to use the international award-winning Highclere Castle Gin as its delicate botanicals of juniper, lime flower, orange peel and lavender balance perfectly with the remaining cocktail components. What’s more, with a gorgeous bottle of Highclere Castle Gin by your side you will definitely feel like high society!
The difficulty rating of this cocktail is 4/10. The French 75 shaken in a cocktail shaker, strained into a flute and topped with champagne.
Not only does this cocktail taste sophisticated, it looks sophisticated too. The delicate pale yellow hue of the French 75 is really elevated with the inclusion of the lemon twist garnish. Serve in your most classy champagne flute to get the full benefits!
