The Blackberry Basil Margarita is a refreshing cocktail created by Código 1530, featuring their Blanco tequila. The Blanco from Código 1530 their purest tequila that reflects the perfect inputs and refined production processes. This cocktail is delightfully fruity and sweet which is balanced out nicely by the classic salted rim. The fresh lime juice pairs very well with the earthy and clean tequila alongside the triple sec.
The Blackberry Basil Margarita scores a difficulty of 4/10. The ingredients included are basic and easy to acquire. However, the process requires a couple of additional steps, such as muddling the blackberries and creating the salted rim.
As well as tasting refreshing, the Blackberry Basil Margarita certainly looks refreshing too. We used a sprig of basil, two blackberries and a salted rim to garnish the drink, as is tradition with margaritas. This is all beautifully presented in a rocks glass.
