A classic cocktail that perfectly balances sweet with sour. Featuring Teeling Small Batch Whiskey alongside lemon juice, simple syrup, egg white and a dash of Angostura bitters. Recipe inspired by Steve the Bartender. Difficulty: 6/10

  • Jigger
  • Small Paring Knife

  • Cocktail Stick

Ingredients

Drink

  • 60 ml Teeling Small Batch Whiskey
  • 22.5 ml Lemon Juice
  • 22.5 ml 1:1 Simple Syrup
  • 15 ml Egg White
  • 1 Spray of Angostura Bitters

Garnish

  • 1 Orange Slice
  • 1 Maraschino Cherry

Instructions

  • Add ice into your rock glass to chill the glass
  • Add the egg white and lemon juice into a cocktail shaker without ice.
  • Shake for 60 seconds.
  • Add the whiskey and simple syrup into the cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Shake for 10 seconds
  • Double strain into your rocks glass.
  • Allow the egg to separate and add a dash of Angostura Bitters on top.
  • Garnish with a slice of orange and a skewered maraschino cherry.
  • Enjoy your drink.
